Verbena

Verbena officinalis, from the Verbena genus, has been used for its medicinal properties for centuries. It was a sacred herb for the Greeks and Romans and has long been used by druids and
sorcerers hoping to exploit its “magical powers”.

But where does this “sorcerers’ herb” come from?

Verbena officinalis or wild vervain originated on the European grasslands. This hardy perennial is widespread in Europe and can be easily found by the roadside and on wasteland. Its stems grow to between 50 and 80 cm and have rough, jagged, hairy leaves that are used in cosmetics. The plant flowers between June and October and grows small, often lilac flowers in the form of a spike.

And why is it good for our skin?

The vervain flower is known for its soothing, antioxidant properties. It provides relief for sensitive and dry skin.

Our difference: organic extracts!

The leaves of the vervain are delicately picked by hand during summer in the South of France, before being dried. As they are grown organically, they have not been treated with chemicals and are carefully extracted in hot water to make the most of their naturally water-soluble compounds. The extract is therefore 100% natural and gentle on your skin.
